“It’s wonderful to have my new venue to feature underrepresented female voices in sustainability. Different styles, different voices, one focus – the fragility of our earth. I’d like to call on people who want to support local mid-career female artists and sustainable culture.”

Pico Okada
This Japanese artist, now based in Amsterdam, takes seasonal landscapes to a whole new level—what seems like a serene scene from afar reveals hidden Pop icons like Pikachu and Hello Kitty up close. It’s a clever nod to our obsession with symbols and the blind eye we turn to the beauty right in front of us. In her latest pieces, she delves into mass psychology and conformity, weaving in themes of Japanese pop culture, consumerism, and the eerie uniformity of modern society.
